There are many burger restaurants lately, and everyone seems like eating burgers all the time! From Burgerlab, Fat Boys, Crayon Burger, Burger Junkyard and then now there's The Grind Burger Bar which is located SS17, Petaling Jaya. What's in the Grind Burger Bar? Other than burger, they also serve hotdog, pasta and fish and chips which gives more variety of western food when you're dining with friends who prefer other western food than burgers. They serve pork and beef burgers, therefore, they are a non-halal restaurant. Here are some food that we had on that day. Enjoy! :)

If you're looking for a place to have great brunch & desserts, is time that you pay a visit to Acme Bar & Coffee @ The Troika located in Jalan Binjai, Kuala Lumpur. The restaurant can easily be found as it is located at the area behind Menara Citibank, Jalan Ampang. What's on the menu? Acme Bar & Coffee offers variety of food which include breakfasts, pastas, sandwiches, burgers, salads, Asian food and DESSERTS! We satisfied our long time cravings for new desserts during the visit as their cakes are unique and delicious. As for their main course, we find the portion was average but the taste of the food were delightful as expected (Good reviews by others). Brunch @ Antipodean Cafe, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur

If you're looking for big and great western breakfast, it's time for you to try out Antipodean Cafe located just beside la bodega Bangsar at Jalan Telawi, Bangsar. This restaurant was also shortlisted in best new restaurant of Time Out KL food award 2011. When we arrived at the cafe, the friendly waitress greeted and explained how to order at the cafe. At Antipodean, the menu is written on the wall and you will need to tell the waiters/waitresses what to wish to order. Their food are reasonably priced according to their portion, which is quite big. However, their portion for their beverages are not very big. As for their cakes and biscuits, each cake will only cost you RM8 while a biscuit will cost you RM5 per piece. Overall, we had a great experience dining in Antipodean cafe with their delicious food, friendly service crews and cozy ambiance.

Pork Ribs @ Chicago Ribs House, 1Utama Shopping Centre, Petaling Jaya

The 2nd branch of Chicago Ribs House has finally opened in 1Utama, Petaling Jaya. There's another branch located in Penang. The dining area and concepts are quite similar to Tony Roma's and Chili's, they serve pastas, appetizers, burgers, pizzas, and ribs. The only different thing about this restaurant is that they mainly serves non-halal western food. They are currently having promotion for their famous pork ribs where you can get 50% off on 2nd order of the pork ribs (Full-rack, Original Flavor only) until end of November.

Sweet taste from the honey sauce, the meat is quite tender compared to the original flavor, probably is from different part of the pork. You get to choose 2 side dishes for each order. Their mashed potatoes tasted quite good! The veggies are fresh too! :)

Original Flavor Pork Ribs (Full Rack) @ RM26.95, after 50% off

The meat is not as tender compared to the 1st order but the rib is bigger compared to the previous order and they are very generous with the french fries, almost couldn't finish them. The sauce tasted like bbq flavor, more salty taste. 

Overall, we are quite satisfied with their food portion and taste. A part from that, the services crews are friendly and polite, we had a good lunch experience with Chicago Ribs House today and we'll visit them next time to try out other dishes :)

Another place that you can visit for pork western food. The place is located near Betty's Midwest Kitchen at Aman Suria. Aside from pork, they also offer fish, chicken and lamb. Their pork burger is what you must definitely try as they are cheap and delicious!

Extra bacon on the pork burger! Order this if you think the pork burger is too little for your appetite! There's no cheese inside this burger, it was mixed with their burger sauce. :)

Overall, the food are quite satisfying and priced at a affordable and reasonable price!

For those who are meat and food lovers, MeatWorks may satisfies you. The concept of MeatWorks is a combination of Deli, Restaurant, Butchery and MeatStudio. The ambiance and interior was very relaxing, classical. It is a suitable place for a small gathering and for people to hang out.

Caesar Salad @ RM21.00

A nice salad which lettuce served with crispy croutons, egg, beef bacon, Caesar dressing and with grilled chicken. Quite a big serving for an appetizer.

Rib Eye @ RM58.00/200g

Rib Eye served with mash potatoes, gravy sauce and some vegetables. The rib eye is juicy and nice which can satisfied your meat hunger.

Lamb Rack @ RM55.00

A lamb lover will like this dish a lot. The lamb rack is served with mashed potatoes, gravy sauce and vegetables. The meat is very succulent to the bone.

Pan Roasted Barramundi @ RM48.00

Pan roasted barramundi served on herb's risotto with seared scallop and Anise salad. Creamy and cheesy risotto that complement that barramundi well. If you are not a red meat lover, this dish is recommendable.

Pork Western Cuisine for Dinner @ Betty's Midwest Kitchen, Aman Suria Damansara, PJ

One of the famous restaurant that serves western food with pork. The place was full when we arrived around 8.30pm on Friday, so if you planning to drop by Betty's, make sure you make reservation first. The ambiance and settings desirable for group gatherings and birthday celebration. Additionally, they serve pastas, burgers, pork ribs, side dishes, sandwiches, pork chops and desserts. Choice of their desserts are quite limited as they only have Apple crumble and bread pudding topped with ice-creams. What we like about them? Their Pork ribs and dog food taste awesome which you must try!!

A combination of a grilled Bratwurst, Munich, Cheese and Pepper sausage served with fries and our house coleslaw, the sausages were very big and meaty, suitable for sharing and this dish is quite filling, the taste extremely nice, each sausage has their own taste!

Classical Meatloaf @ RM16,50
A classical Midwest-style pork meatloaf. This hearty, wholesome and tasty dish is served with our house mash potato, peas, onion relish and our very own beer-based dip.

BBQ buffet dinner promotion by Decanter and the vouchers were bought from Mydeal at RM46.40. Overall the food was okay, the cakes and tarts tasted quite average only.
