Another Japanese restaurant is now opened in Solaris Dutamas! Wagaya is located just opposite Overtime, Solaris Dutamas, they taken over Ten Fine Dining Japanese Restaurant's spot. Wagaya has different set of menu during lunch and dinner hour. Bento and don are served during lunch hours while grilled food (yakitori and etc), Japanese pasta and pizza are served during dinner time. Like most Japanese restaurant, Japanese dishes such as sashimis, maki, rolls, don, takoyaki, ramen and etc are available in their menu. We noticed that Wagaya has a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in their menu. If you dine in during your birthday, a birthday month special cocktail will given to the birthday boy or birthday girl!

Assorted Chirashi

Assorted sashimi served with Japanese rice

 Grilled Salmon & Scallop Box Sushi

Nicely done, the scallops are big (than the salmon) and fresh

Chicken Karaage Bento

Very generous with the portion, the chicken was salty and crispy

 Green Ice Cream with Green Tea Cheese Cake served with Red Beans

The cheese cake has balance of cheese and green tea flavour

Overall Ratings:

Food: Cooked dishes tasted better and the portion was quite big, didn't really enjoy the sashimi

Price: from RM20, depending what you are ordering

Service: Friendly and helpful service crew

Environment: Cozy and well-furnished, equipped with computer screen for ordering

If you're looking for a place to have great brunch & desserts, is time that you pay a visit to Acme Bar & Coffee @ The Troika located in Jalan Binjai, Kuala Lumpur. The restaurant can easily be found as it is located at the area behind Menara Citibank, Jalan Ampang. What's on the menu? Acme Bar & Coffee offers variety of food which include breakfasts, pastas, sandwiches, burgers, salads, Asian food and DESSERTS! We satisfied our long time cravings for new desserts during the visit as their cakes are unique and delicious. As for their main course, we find the portion was average but the taste of the food were delightful as expected (Good reviews by others). Here are some snapshots we took during our lunch, enjoy! and we definitely will come back for more desserts!

Lunch @ Aria Traditional Italian Dining & Whisky Bar, Damansara

Somehow, we've manage to obtain a great deal from Dealmates again. This time, it is 'an Italian Feast for 2 Persons (Antipasto de la Casa + Aglio e Olio Smoked Duck + Polpette di Agnello) Worth RM124 for Only RM59'. However, we made a good decision by sharing it with 3 persons. The portion was so huge!

Sadly, we couldn't take any picture of interior as people and waiters were bustling about here and there, making it difficult for us to get a good shot. However, the interior sets off a nice ambience that is slightly dim in lighting that makes it perfect for dates. It also has a 2nd floor which people can have a larger group upstairs for celebration. The service there could be better but I'll forgive that since it was lunch time and there was so many customers that 2-3 waiters could handle.

Antipasto de la Casa @ RM68

Salmon Carpaccio di Salmone (Smoked Salmon Slices drizzled with sauce dressing), Carpaccio di Manzo  (Beef slices drizzled with sauce dressing) , Arancini Risotto, Marinated Mushroom, Mixed Grill Vege, Artichoke, Calamari & Zucchini Fritti

This appetizer platter is really huge. It can be shared between 3-4 people. There are a variety of snacks there and all are really delicious. For those that can't eat beef, you should request the waiters to change the beef carpaccio to salmon carpaccio for you.

Palpetto di Agnello @ RM28

Basically, it is fettucine pasta and lamb meatballs in pomodoro sauce. The lamb meatball is a little bit dry and hard to eat but the sauce is really flavorful and the pasta is really smooth and easy to eat.

Aglio e Olio Smoked Duck @ RM28

This dish contains of pepperoncino, smoked duck, cherry tomatoes, kalamata, sundried tomatoes, aragula and sauteed garlic. All this ingredients go together really well. The smoked duck was not overcooked and still very juicy when you bite into it. The pasta was cooked to perfection and it taste really well when drizzled with some olive oil and herbs. I strongly recommend this pasta. It's really worth the money and tastes delicious.

Italian concept restaurant which gives premier dining experience providing great ambiance and great Italian food. They offer lunch everyday except Sundays from the price of RM19.90++ with 10% service charge and 6% government tax. Had their lunch set on that day and it was a great experience as the staffs are friendly and helpful in assisting us choosing what to eat.

Tiramisu
This tiramisu has the right combination of chocolate and coffee goodness, which is not like the others that have been so coffee- like and almost bitter. Besides that, it is topped with strawberry to create a combination of sweet, sour and bitterness taste. With the touch of strawberry, it is somewhat different from any other tiramisus out there.

Serves Italian, western and Asian food. Alexis is famous for their cakes and each slice is quite pricey but it worth the price because they taste really good! Is like really GOOD! xD.

Deep Fried squid rings coated in breadcrumb served with salad, ideal for those who love fried squid. The squid rings are bit crunchy and not too oily.

Crepe filled with various types of seafood which includes squids, scallops, prawns and fish, and mixed with special seafood gravy. All the seafood are fresh, fries and salad are also served together with this dish.
