Dinner @ The Mill Buffet Grand Millennium Hotel Kuala Lumpur

First time buffet visit to The Mill. We decided to visit The Mill for buffet because we bought the buffet coupon from www.everyday.com.my, this coupon got sold out quite fast at 10,435! This is a very good deal as the food from The Mill was delicious! :)

Here are some photos we taken from the dinner on 20th May 2011, the place was quite full when we reached, but don't worry, they refill the food regularly to make sure every customers get to try out their food!

Fresh seafood and Japanese food!
oyster is a bit small but is fresh and nice!
(oyster, prawn, crab, mini lobster, scallop, mussel)

Dim sum was okay only..but again, the Japanese food and mussels were fresh = tasty!:)

Indian food, satay, curry noodle, green peas soup, peanut and lotus root soup(NICE)!

Yummy desserts! Must try all of them! x)
Try their homemade ice cream also, the texture was quite smooth.
(Panna Cotta, Gelatin, Cakes, Tarts, Puddings)

Overall, for us, we give it a 4/5! Value buy dinner buffet with mostly delicious food!

Famous Indian Cuisine @ Bangsar area, located opposite Bangsar Village 2, their famous dish is the banana leaf rice served with 3 vegetables. The place is always full during lunch and dinner time, you might have to queue up awhile for the seats. Everyone can dine in here because is Halal certified. A must try place!

Non-halal Dim Sum restaurant that offers variety of dim sum, from the classic dim sum to own creation dim sum which some of the dim sum restaurant do not have on the menu! :) Baby Abalone Siu Mai, Hakka Dumpling and Beancurd Prawn are @ RM10 which we purchased this great deal voucher from JackCow. 8TV's Ho Chak had review on their food and restaurant. BBQ buffet dinner promotion by Decanter and the vouchers were bought from Mydeal at RM46.40. Overall the food was okay, the cakes and tarts tasted quite average only. There are variety of food which include few type of salads, Bruschettas, fried food, asam laksa, fried rice and noodles, pasta, raw seafood and meat to be bbq, ABC and more!

Lunch @ Bangsar Seafood Garden Restaurant

A chinese restaurant that specializes in seafood dishes especially crabs. It has various type of crab dishes in their menu. Their restaurant is a little difficult to locate because it is quite hidden but there should not be much problem with proper address and directions.

Signature Butter Crab @ RM70 per kg

We decided to order their most popular crab dish which is the butter crab. Frankly, the butter sauce lacks taste. I could only taste the black pepper in it and very mild butter. However, the crab was juicy and fresh because it is cooked just right. We paid RM30 per kg for the crab with Groupon vouchers.

 Fried Buns @ RM3

Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It's really delicious with sauce from crab dishes.

House Noodles Specialty @ RM12

Fried noodles with lots of spices. Kinda like maggi goreng except with more ingredients. 

Pi Pa Beancurds @ RM18

The beancurds is stuffed with meat and covered with thick seafood gravy. This is quite delicious but the portion is quite small.

Roasted Duck for Lunch @ Restoran Sunrise, Petaling Jaya

Chinese restaurant specialize in roasted duck. Their roasted duck is really delicious. During lunch time, the restaurant is packed with a lot of people and those who haven't get a seat will need to wait for the table. Be there before 12noon is the best time. The roasted duck is best eaten at the restaurant. A must try place for food hunters! :)
